Furry Peeps is our family-run Gold Coast brand creating colourful personalised gear for pets with very big personalities and absolutely no intention of contributing to household expenses.

We’ve been personalising pet stuff since 2009, long before dogs had Instagram accounts, birthday grazing tables and wardrobes requiring their own storage solutions.

Today we design, personalise, print and pack a huge range of pet products ourselves, surrounded by an alarming number of animals who provide inspiration, supervision and almost no practical assistance.

Personalised from the beginning.

Furry Peeps grew from a very simple idea: the things we buy for our pets should feel as individual as the animals themselves.

We wanted colour. Personality. Useful products. Names. Photos. Things that made people smile when they arrived instead of looking like every other beige pet product on the planet.

So we started making them.

Over the years the collection has grown into personalised bowls, collars, leads, blankets, bags, birthday goodies, signs, gifts, pet-face products and a fairly impressive assortment of other things nobody technically needs until they see their pet’s name on one.

And we still make them ourselves on the Gold Coast.

Millie + Barkley.

Millie and Barkley are our resident dogs, product models, parcel inspectors and enthusiastic supporters of any business decision involving food.

They’re also a pretty good summary of why Furry Peeps exists. Pets become part of the family very quickly, acquire approximately seventeen nicknames and somehow end up with more personalised belongings than some humans.

We see no reason to fight it.

The property has developed its own cast of characters.

Furry Peeps is surrounded by enough animals that inspiration rarely requires leaving home.

Norman and Penelope are our Valais sheep and look permanently prepared for an expensive shampoo commercial. Harry and Sally, our goats, specialise in climbing things and investigating whether absolutely everything can be eaten.

The chickens and ducks conduct daily meetings across the property with no obvious agenda. Louis the pig oversees anything involving snacks, while Bailey the cockatoo handles communications at a volume nobody requested.

Then there’s Heidi, our blue-tongue lizard, and Snack the bearded dragon, who quietly observe the entire operation with the sort of judgement only reptiles can achieve.

It is not a particularly conventional workplace. We like it that way.
