THE HUMAN VERSION
We need some information to make the shop work.
We collect only the information reasonably needed to operate Furry Peeps, personalise and deliver orders, provide customer service, maintain accounts, prevent fraud and improve the website. We try to explain that here without requiring a privacy-law decoder ring.

Mostly the things needed to make and deliver your order.
The exact information collected depends on what you do on the website and which services you use.
Order + personalisation details
We collect information about what you ordered, selected product options, pet names, phone numbers, wording, photographs, uploaded files and other details required to make your product.
Website + technical information
This may include IP address, browser and device information, pages or products viewed, cart activity, cookies and information used for analytics, security, fraud prevention and spam detection.
Your dog’s name probably isn’t sensitive information.
But an uploaded photograph, delivery address, account details or file metadata may contain information relating to a person. We treat customer uploads and order information responsibly either way.

PHOTOS + UPLOADS
We only need the photo because you asked us to print it.
Some personalised products require you to upload photographs or other files. We use those files to prepare and produce your order and provide related customer support.
Please only upload photographs or artwork you have permission to use.
Uploaded images can sometimes contain embedded metadata, including location information. If you do not want that metadata included in the file, remove it before uploading.
Product photos + social media.
We may photograph finished Furry Peeps products for our website
or social media.
We do not intentionally publish private contact details or
customer photographs that clearly identify a person without
appropriate permission.
If your personalised order needs to remain private, contact us

WHO GETS WHAT?
We share what is needed to provide the service.
We do not sell customer lists or hand your details around for entertainment.
Payment providers
Payment information and transaction details needed to authorise or support a payment may be provided to the payment gateway or payment service you choose at checkout. Their own privacy policies also apply.
Postage + couriers
Carriers receive the information reasonably required to deliver your parcel, such as your name, delivery address, phone number, email address and delivery instructions where applicable.
Website service providers
We may use hosting, email, analytics, fraud prevention, spam detection, accounting, marketing and technical providers that process information as part of providing those services.
No newsletter hostage situations.
If you no longer want marketing emails, use the unsubscribe option in the message or contact us.
MARKETING
We send marketing where you’ve agreed to receive it.
If you subscribe to Furry Peeps marketing, we may use your supplied contact details to send news, new-product information, offers and other Furry Peeps updates.
You can unsubscribe using the link included in marketing emails. Transactional messages about an order, payment, delivery or customer-service issue are different from marketing messages and may still need to be sent.
