Available buy-now-pay-later services appear at checkout. Approval, eligibility and account terms are handled by the relevant payment provider.

Card details belong inside the secure checkout, not inside an email titled “here is my credit card information.”
Please never send complete card details to us.
For cardholder protection, complete credit-card information should only be entered through the secure payment process provided during checkout.
Do not send complete card numbers or security codes to Furry Peeps by email, social media message, contact form or post.
If complete card details are sent to us outside the secure payment process, they may be deleted or destroyed for security.

Furry Peeps currently offers supported buy-now-pay-later options through PayPal Pay in 4, Zip and Klarna where those services are available at checkout.
These services are operated by the individual payment providers. Their eligibility requirements, approval processes, payment schedules and terms apply.
Furry Peeps doesn’t approve the finance.
If a provider declines a transaction, changes your available
spending limit or has an account issue, you’ll need to deal
directly with that provider.
We make personalised pet gear. We are wisely not moonlighting
as a financial institution.
Occasionally an order gets a security sniff.
Payment systems use fraud-prevention checks to protect cardholders and businesses from unauthorised transactions.
FRAUD PROTECTION
Sometimes we may need to verify the cardholder.
An order may occasionally be flagged for additional payment verification before production begins.
If verification is required, we may ask for limited information that helps demonstrate that the purchaser is in possession of the card used for the transaction.
If we request a photograph of the card, follow the exact instructions provided and cover all information we have not specifically asked to see.

Hours
Verification holds pause production.
If an order is flagged for payment verification, production will not begin until the required verification is completed.
If requested verification information is not supplied within 72 hours, the order may be cancelled and the payment refunded.
This is a fraud-prevention step. It is not our team taking a personal interest in your wallet, handbag or highly photogenic dog.
WHEN DO WE START?
Successful payment first. Printing second.
A completed checkout does not always mean the payment has finished every little journey behind the scenes.

Order placed.
You complete checkout and submit the order using one of the available payment methods.

Payment clears.
The transaction must be successfully processed and any required verification completed.

We start making.
Once the order is paid, complete and ready for production, it joins the appropriate Furry Peeps production queue.
REFUNDS
Refunds generally go back where the payment came from.
Where a refund is approved, we generally process it back to the original payment method used for the transaction.
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund after it has been processed by us.
If the purchase was made through a buy-now-pay-later provider, that provider’s systems and account process also form part of the refund journey.
Refund processed ≠ money instantly visible.
Once we submit an approved refund, banks and payment providers
can have their own processing time before the funds appear
back in your account.
Banking systems remain slightly less excited about your refund
than your pet was about the original parcel.
PAYMENT NOT BEHAVING?
A few things worth checking.
Payment failures can happen for several reasons and do not necessarily mean the website has developed feelings about you.
Check the details
Make sure card information and billing details have been entered correctly.
Check with your bank
Your financial institution may decline or block a transaction for its own security reasons.
Check the provider
PayPal, Zip or Klarna account and approval issues need to be handled with that provider.
