Personalisation is what turns a perfectly good pet product into their perfectly good pet product. It also means the name, phone number, date or wording you enter needs one very important final check before you order.
We do not routinely correct names, phone numbers, dates, spelling, grammar or highly specific jokes known only to you, your partner and apparently the dog.
We make the product. You supply the personal bits. Here is what happens to pet names, phone numbers, dates, custom wording and the occasional ambitious punctuation mark.
We use the personalisation supplied with your order. We do not routinely:
Check every personalised field before completing checkout. We are very good at printing. We remain disappointingly underqualified in telepathy.
Some fonts appear entirely in uppercase, entirely in lowercase, mixed case or with decorative letterforms.
Typing a pet name in capitals does not necessarily mean the finished design will appear in capitals. The font and styling shown in the product example form part of the design.
Fancy little letters sometimes have opinions of their own.
Longer pet names and phrases may need to be reduced in size, split over additional lines, repositioned or adjusted slightly so they fit the design.
We preserve the overall look of the artwork while making your wording as clear and balanced as possible.
If a personalisation field has a character limit, there is usually an excellent reason lurking behind it. Sadly, not every dog can fit their full aristocratic title across a collar.
Please do not enter emojis, icons or unusual symbols unless the individual product specifically says they are supported.
Not every font or production system contains every character. Unsupported symbols may disappear, display incorrectly or prevent your personalisation from working as expected.
Pet names containing apostrophes, hyphens or accented characters are absolutely worth entering correctly, but support can depend on the particular font used in the design.
If a character is essential to the correct spelling, enter it exactly as required. If you are concerned that a particular accented or special character may not display in the chosen design, contact us before ordering.
Some Furry Peeps products allow a personalised message, birthday wording, phone number or custom phrase, while others allow only a pet name or another specific field.

If a product says “name only”, typing your dog’s complete life story into the order notes does not quietly unlock a secret novelist package.
Personalised orders can move into production quickly. If you notice an error immediately after ordering, contact us as soon as possible and we will see whether the order can still be changed.
Once artwork has been prepared, printing has begun or the product has entered production, we may no longer be able to alter customer-supplied names, phone numbers or wording.
Four seconds of checking before checkout is considerably easier than trying to convince the printer that your dog has recently changed its name.
The examples and previews shown online illustrate how the design generally looks. Final placement, line breaks, letter size and spacing may vary slightly depending on the pet name or wording supplied.
Small layout adjustments are sometimes necessary to stop an unusually long pet name from staging a hostile takeover of the entire product.
We make these small changes so the finished design stays balanced, readable and considerably better looking than a name squeezed into a space it clearly refuses to fit.
A separate artwork proof is not supplied unless the individual product page specifically says that a proof is included.
If a Furry Peeps product includes a proofing process, the product page will explain it. Otherwise, your order will generally proceed using the personalisation supplied at checkout.
Website previews are illustrative guides rather than a guarantee of pixel-for-pixel final placement. Minor scale, spacing and line-break changes may be made to keep the finished design looking balanced.
The humans will tidy the artwork where necessary. The pets remain unavailable for approval meetings.
Before ordering, check the little pieces of information that are spectacularly good at causing trouble when nobody checks them.
We will of course provide the remedies required by Australian Consumer Law where a product has a fault or does not meet applicable consumer guarantees.
However, if the product has been correctly made using the personalised information you supplied, an error in that customer-supplied information is generally not a manufacturing fault.
In other words: if you entered “Barlkey” and we beautifully printed “Barlkey”, the printer has performed its duties with slightly unfortunate excellence.
Nothing here removes or limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
Names, numbers and tiny personalised details are what make the good stuff properly theirs. Give everything one final read before ordering and we’ll take it from there.
